The protection and lawful processing of your personal data is an important concern for us. We would like to inform you about our data collection and use in the following:

1. General Information on Data Processing

As a matter of principle, we process personal data of our users only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website and to fulfill our contractual obligations. The processing of personal data of our users is regularly carried out only with the consent of the user. An exception applies in those cases where it is not possible to obtain prior consent for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by legal regulations.

If personal data of you are processed, you are a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data -

Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing operations involving personal data, Article 6 (1) (a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) serves as the legal basis.

When processing personal data that is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In this context, membership in an association is to be regarded as a contractual relationship between the members and the association.

 

Insofar as processing of personal data is necessary for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO serves as the legal basis.

In the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person make processing of personal data necessary, Art. 6 (1) lit. d DSGVO serves as the legal basis.

If the processing is necessary to protect our legitimate interests or those of a third party and the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not override the former interest, Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO serves as the legal basis for the processing.

 

Data deletion and storage period

The personal data of the data subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply. Storage may take place beyond this if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in Union regulations, laws or other provisions to which the controller is subject. Blocking or deletion of the data will also take place if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless there is a necessity for further storage of the data for the conclusion or performance of a contract.

 

2. Right to information, correction, blocking, deletion and right of objection

As a data subject, you have the right:

in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data if it has not been collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details;

pursuant to Art. 16 DSGVO, to request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us without undue delay;

pursuant to Art. 17 DSGVO, to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;

pursuant to Art. 18 DSGVO, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you object to its erasure and we no longer require the data, but you need it for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or you have objected to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO;

pursuant to Art. 20 DSGVO, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that it be transferred to another controller;

in accordance with Art. 7 (3) DSGVO, to revoke your consent once given to us at any time. This has the consequence that we may no longer continue the data processing, which was based on this consent, for the future; and complain to a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 DSGVO. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our company headquarters in Frankfurt am Main for this purpose. If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO, provided that there are grounds for doing so that arise from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which is implemented by us without specifying a particular situation.

3. Collection and Storage of Personal Data of Website Visitors

Each time our website www.eurokids.fun is called up, our system automatically collects data and information through the browser used on your terminal device. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:

IP address of the requesting computer,

Date and time of access,

Name and URL of the accessed file,

website from which the access is made (referrer URL) and browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The aforementioned data is processed by us for the following purposes:

 

Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website,

Ensuring a comfortable use of our website,

evaluation of system security and stability as well as

for other administrative purposes.

The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above. In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person. Without this data, it would not be technically possible to deliver and display the contents of the website without restrictions.

 

In addition, we use cookies when you visit our website. You can find more detailed explanations of this under section 7 of this data protection declaration.

 

4. Contact via the Contact Form or E-mail

When contact is made via the contact form, the data entered there is stored and processed. The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO if the user has given his consent. The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after completion of your request.

Alternatively, it is possible to contact us via the e-mail addresses provided by us. In this case, the user's personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be stored. The legal basis for processing the data transmitted in the course of sending an e-mail is Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.

In this context, the data will be used exclusively for processing the contact.

 

5. Data of Association Members and Contractual Partners

When registering for EuroKids Services, personal data is collected via the form that is relevant in connection with the activities the services organized by EuroKids gGmbH. The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO and, if consent has been given, Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO.In the context of registration and renewed logins as well as use of our online services, we store the IP address and the time of the respective user action. The storage is based on the legitimate interests of us as well as the users to protect against misuse and other unauthorized use. In principle, this data is not passed on to third parties unless it is necessary for the pursuit of our claims or there is a legal obligation to do so in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c DSGVO.

Provision of contractual services

We process inventory data (e.g. names and addresses as well as contact data of members), contractual data (e.g. services used, names of contact persons, payment information) for the purpose of fulfilling our contractual obligations and providing services pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. DSGVO. The entries marked as mandatory in online forms, are required for the conclusion of the contract or membership in the association.

Administration, financial accounting, office organization, archiving

We also process data in the context of administrative tasks as well as organization of the association and our company, financial accounting and compliance with legal obligations, such as archiving. In this context, we process the same data that we process in the context of providing our contractual services. The processing bases are Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c. DSGVO, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f., Art. 28 DSGVO.

Data subjects of the processing are: members, interested parties, business partners and website visitors. The purpose of the processing is the administration, financial accounting, office organization, archiving of data that serve the maintenance of the association, the company and our services. In this regard, we disclose or transmit data to the financial administration.

Furthermore, on the basis of our business interests, we store data on suppliers, organizers and other business partners, e.g. for the purpose of contacting them at a later date. In principle, we store this data, which is mainly company-related, permanently.

 

6. Sharing of Data

If, in the course of our processing, we disclose data to other persons and companies (order processors or third parties), transmit it to them or otherwise grant them access to the data, this will only be done on the basis of a legal permission (e.g. if a transmission of the data to third parties, such as to payment service providers, pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO is necessary for the performance of a contract), you have consented, a legal obligation provides for this or on the basis of our legitimate interests (e.g. when using agents, bus service, security service, service providers for Extra Curricular Activities and Holiday camps, Childcare, accounting, billing and similar services that allow us to efficiently and effectively fulfill our contractual obligations, administrative tasks and duties).

If we entrust third parties with the processing of data on the basis of a so-called "order processing agreement", this is done on the basis of Art. 28 DSGVO.

 

7. Use of cookies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device, do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

In the cookie, information is stored that arises in each case in connection with the specific end device used. This does not mean, however, that we gain direct knowledge of your identity.

 

The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site.

 

In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness, which are stored on your terminal device for a certain fixed period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it is automatically recognized that you have already been to our site and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.

 

The data processed by cookies is necessary for the aforementioned purposes to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a notice always appears before a new cookie is created. However, the complete deactivation of cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

 

8. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures in accordance with Article 32 DSGVO, taking into account the state of the art, the implementation costs and the nature, scope, circumstances and purposes of the processing, as well as the varying likelihood and severity of the risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, in order to ensure a level of protection appropriate to the risk. The measures include, in particular, safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data by controlling physical access to the data, as well as access to, entry into, disclosure of, assurance of availability of and segregation of the data. Furthermore, we have established procedures to ensure the exercise of data subjects' rights, deletion of data, and response to data compromise. Furthermore, we already take the protection of personal data into account during the development or selection of hardware, software and procedures, in accordance with the principle of data protection through technology design and through data protection-friendly default settings (Art. 25 DSGVO).

Within the website visit, we use the widespread SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in conjunction with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. As a rule, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is encrypted by the closed key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

 

9. Photographic Material

We take photos at events for the purpose of remembrance for the members and for the presentation of the activities of the association. The photos are published on the website in the protected member area and after approval also in print media, e.g. brochures or club reports.

The legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO lies in the presentation of the activities of the Parents' Association of the European School Frankfurt am Main e.V. and EuroKids gGmbH to the members. The use in print media takes place in order to increase the level of awareness.

There is the right to object to the processing. The objection can be directed to: office@eurokids.gmbh (although any other type of objection is also possible).

It can be assumed that our interest in the production and use of the photos does not unduly interfere with the rights and freedoms of the natural persons, especially since they have gone to events organized by us, the production and use of the photos was pointed out in advance and at the event, and care is taken both in the production of photos and in the publication of the same that no legitimate interests of depicted persons are violated. If the rights and freedoms of a person depicted are violated for reasons that are particularly worthy of consideration, we will take appropriate measures to refrain from further processing. Unidentification in print media that have already been issued cannot take place. Deletion on the website will take place within the scope of technical possibilities.

We would like to point out that sufficient technical measures have been taken to ensure data protection (see section 8). Nevertheless, comprehensive data protection cannot be guaranteed when publishing personal member data on the Internet. The personal data may also be accessible in countries that do not have data protection regulations comparable to those of the Federal Republic of Germany, and the confidentiality, integrity (inviolability), authenticity (genuineness) and availability of the personal data cannot be guaranteed.

 

10. Topicality and change of this data protection explanation

This privacy policy is currently valid and has the status of January 24, 2022.

Due to the further development of our website and offers on it or due to changed legal or regulatory requirements, it may become necessary to change this privacy policy. You can access and print out the current data protection declaration on the website at any time.
